ABOUT

Sandor Lubbe is a stalwart fixture of the international media. In 1990, Lubbe set upon his first foray into publishing, making his name as the co-founder and creative voice behind the trade title Art View, which later went on to be known as Identity Matters. It was around this time, ...more in 1994, that Lubbe conceived the cult fashion and arts publication DutcH. An international cultural authority, DutcH played cultivator and curator to the industry’s most auspicious talent, bestowing a visual legacy which resounds still to this day. Today, Lubbe is the co-owner and editor-in-chief of the international title ZOO Magazine – a laudable force within the creative arts, with a bias towards its founding German heritage. In a harmonic progression on from publishing, Lubbe has found much acclaim behind the lens through his own photography. His unbleached and ruminating style has earned him sitters in the form of Jan Fabre, Isabelle Huppert, Nina Hoss, Oda Jaune, Wolfgang Joop, KISS, Philipp Plein, Ulay, countess Nora von Waldstätten and many more, and in 2009, an exhibition at the Steltman Gallery in Amsterdam.
