Brain Waves, a unique blend of science and art! For this project I collaborated with one of the worlds leading neuroscientists. Through EEG we captured the patterns and frequencies of brain waves of artist and musician Masatane Muto, We measured the brain waves as he was composing and playing his music track. Then we transformed them into a visual and audio, exploring the inner workings and landscapes of the mind. The brain waves have then been transformed to music and light in this film. Its about the form and energy of wave: from brainwaves, to sound waves, to the rhythm and expression of waves int eh dance. The ping sound in the background ist the sound and rhythm of brainwaves. Prepare to be mesmerized as the pulsating beats build a breathtaking choreography with cutting-edge visual effects, all while celebrating the transformative power of the mind. An iconic artist & musician, Masatane Muto, who creates a global movement on ALS, develops the astonishing potential of brain wave communication, igniting a thrilling journey from the rhythms of EEG brain waves through sound waves to the dancer's imagination, a language of movement and liberation. The protagonist is fighting ALS and is losing his muscle power and, have been developing ways to create music. through his eye movement and now through his brain waves. Shot in Tokyo, featuring world renown artist and dancer Aoi Yamada.
